New Build Council House Schemes

New Edge were asked to assist this local authority gain traction in their new build Council Homes scheme to be funded from the HRA. The project brief was to look at the Council’s assets of disused garage sites, poor open-space and under-utilised communal areas to identify sites suitable for the construction of single person and facility housing. Several sites were quickly identified, financial models run, planning consents gained and the Council’s in-house DLO utilised for the construction.
